I've been here a few times... I always enjoy the fresh food and great size portions for our family. The owners are always pretty friendly. The environment is also pretty calm. Only issue is the AC could be turned up in our summer months!

3/25/25, good service and good food. Had the won ton soup and shrimp chow mien (Hong Kong style) very filling. Thanks Joe

What a great gem in Tracy. They take reservations (we had a party of 12) which a plus when trying to celebrate a birthday. And the host who was also our waiter (his name is Joe) was totally friendly, gave great tips on what to order, and service was great! The food was so yummy and tasteful I don't even know if I could pick a favorite because I love it all. Definitely coming back to eat here!

Got to the place around 3 PM and ordered a few appetizers, including some dim sum, which was only a few choices. Wish they had pan fried shrimp and chives dumpling. We tried the shoe my, black beans, spareribs, calamari, and the chili wonton. All tasted good. We got here too late for baked barbecue pork bun so we only got the steamed version. The place is cozy and located in a small shopping center so very easy to get to.

In town visiting family and decided on Chinese Food for lunch. Our regular Chinese Restaurant closed recently so turned to Yelp to find a place. Midori was great! It's been around 5 years and I'm glad we finally tried it. It is decorated beautifully. We were seated by a young male who was friendly and helpful. He also took our order and was very attentive. Our meal: - Chicken Lettuce Wraps- delicious, good portion - Beef with Asparagus- tender slices of beef with lots of asparagus, my favorite - Fish Fillet in a Black Bean Sauce- great sauce - Chicken Chow Mein- lots of chicken - Steamed Custard Buns- yummy dessert, not too sweet, exactly what I like We met Mama Chin who is amazing. She had brought out one of our dishes, checked on us, (along with the other server), and came back to help place our food in containers to go. She is a genuinely nice person. She had us laughing and talking like we were old friends. My dad was telling her we enjoyed the fish and she told us a couple of other items we should try. One of them being the Steamed Sole, so definitely trying that next visit. They really know customer service here! Looks like we may have found our new regular Chinese Restaurant in town.

This place is delicious. Came here on a week day. There's a small parking lot but we found parking right away. When we entered we didn't have to wait. They greeted us, sat us, and made recommendations. We came here for a birthday and they were very pleasant and entertaining. The restaurant appears smaller but very nice decor and comfortable seating. We ordered quite a bit of food. Everything tasted so good and they came in big portions so we had a lot of leftovers as well. Mama (from the restaurant) offered a birthday surprise which was really nice. Eating here felt like you were enjoying time with your own family. They treated us like their own. Definitely worth trying out

We had lunch here last week, and the standout dish was the spicy green beans with black bean sauce. They're so smokey flavored and full of umami! They tasted grilled, but Mama said it's just the commercial grade stove on extremely high heat, and they flash cook in 2 mins. Most of the food comes out so quickly, without being greasy. Our beef chow fun, garlic noodles, and steamed sole were, as usual, also delectable and satisfying. We ate so fast and didn't take any pics! As we ate, Mama shared some of her other great food ideas and stories. It was a nice Thursday lunch without the crowd. Come on a slower day to enjoy time with Mama. She also let us use the men's room when the ladies' room was occupied. It was so clean! Thumbs up for clean restrooms.

We had a delicious dinner tonight at Midori. The meat eater had the lemon chicken and said it was delicious. It had a lot of lemon sauce. The vegetarian had the spicy garlic eggplant that was not spicy at all. It could have used more spice but the flavor was good. The pescatarian had the angel hair noodles with the shrimp and left out the pork. The noodles were so good! It had a smokey flavor and it was clearly cooked on the grill. It was so tasty. It was a little weird that we paid $3.50 for a little bowl of rice. I've never had to pay for regular white rice when eating out Asian food. The service was really good, the restroom was clean and it was busy yet not too noisy. We were able to chat and catch up, and enjoy good food.
